The North Andover Improvement Society is a non-profit organization founded in 1893 for the purpose of "the improvement of the physical aspect of the Town of North Andover, and the preservation of its natural beauties and points of historical interest."  Over the years, the mission has been carried out in many ways.

The Society continues to work for the betterment the Town. Members are actively involved with maintenance and beautification of parks, memorials, plant containers and trees. The Society is always open to suggestions for new projects that further our purpose.

Membership is open to all for a nominal donation. Each year, members are invited to our Annual Meeting in June.

In addition to its own fundraising and activities, the Society sponsors the Friends of Patriots Memorial Park, Friend of North Andover Trails, and the North Andover Wildlife Team.
